Beat the Heat :
Due to the heat wave, the temperature in Delhi has reached 50 degrees. Meanwhile, Delhi’s Deputy Governor VK Saxena has asked the workers not to work from 12 to 3 pm, in which case their salary will not be deducted. Saxena has also attacked the Delhi government and said that proper arrangements of water should be made for the workers and coconut water as well. This work should have been done by Delhi Jal Board and Municipal Corporation but there is no plan.
There are reports of many school students fainting due to heat waves in Bihar too. Nitish Kumar has ordered a holiday from May 30. The education union has opposed the order of Keshav Kumar Pathak, Additional Chief Secretary of the Bihar Education Department.
